Sleek Matte Me Lip Cream Review

Hello again!

I was given two of the Sleek Matte Me's (£4.99) for Eid, and I've been loving wearing them ever since!

These lip creams are incredibly pigmented, and in one swipe you will easily be left with a smooth, even and opaque application. Moments after application, they dry to a matte finish and it does not budge for hours! I've found that they start to fade away after eating certain oily foods, but this doesn't bother me as I haven't found anything which can withstand all the junk I eat! It doesn't transfer (not even on to my niqab, wahoo!) which is a major plus for me.

I love the packaging too, it's sturdy and see-through so you can quickly pick up the colour you want to use! The applicator allows just enough product for your lips.

I'd recommend exfoliating and applying a lip balm before using these as some matte lip products do tend to be a bit on the dry side! I exfoliate my lips regularly so this isn't a problem for me, and I don't use lip balm with these as I prefer completely matte lips!

This product is available in 6 shades. I was given the shades "Birthday Suit" and "Fandango Purple", and I love both shades! They were actually both in My Wishlist post. "Birthday Suit" is a lovely nude colour with a pink undertone, I find that this colour is too light for me, so I pair it with a darker nude lipliner/lipstick underneath! "Fandango Purple" is such a gorgeous shade, I love wearing this by itself or over a dark red lipstick!

The Sleek Matte Me Lip Creams haven't had the best reviews on the internet, but I've really gotten into matte lips recently and I find these perfect to wear!
