LA Girl Pro Conceal Review

Hello! ♥

This concealer has been raved about for YEARS, and that's how long I've wanted to try it! My absolute favourite concealer is MAC Pro-LongWear concealer, but as my skin has gotten drier and drier, it's just become way too difficult to use it. I finally ordered a few shades of the LA Girl Pro Conceal concealers last year, but they unfortunately did not arrive. So this time, I used ebay (click here for the link), and they arrived within 3-4 days INCLUDING the weekend!

I ordered the shade Cool Tan which is a slightly darker and more warm-toned version of the Maybelline Fit Me concealer, shade 35.
This concealer comes in 18 shades, ranging from pale to dark as well as having cool and warm tones - which is amazing for a drugstore brand! It also means you can even buy a few shades and use them for cream contouring and highlighting!

The texture of this concealer is amazing, it's so so creamy but doesn't crease under my eyes, as long as it is set with a powder.. The creasing is very minimal when it's not set, so it's hardly noticeable but I do prefer to set this concealer just for peace of mind! It dries down quite quickly so it's best to work with it fast, especially if you have dry skin. It dries to a natural semi-matte finish, and doesn't look cakey at all under my eyes despite it being the driest area of my face. It just looks really natural but flawless at the same time! This concealer blends in seamlessly, and I either blend with my fingers or my trusty ELF Flawless Concealer Brush.

It is definitely the most opaque concealer I've ever used! It handles my blemishes, scars, under-eye circles and pigmentation incredibly well. I don't even need a corrector for my under eye circles when using this! This creamy concealer is super pigmented, so you really only need to use the tiniest bit which means the little tube will last a long time!

It tends to start fading after about 8-10 hours, and is totally transfer proof when it's set with a powder.
It also doesn't highlight any of my dry patches.

The concealer has a brush applicator, but I don't use it as it think it's just a bit unhygienic.
Also, the packaging makes it a bit difficult to tell whether you're squeezing any product out or not, and then it's too late because you've taken out too much.. Does that just happen to me..?

The best part is that it is very affordable - I've seen it online from £1.97-£5. I bought mine for £3.69 plus p&p.
If you live in London, Beauty Base in Westfield now do these for £4.99!

I can totally see why everyone loves this concealer!
What are your thoughts if you've tried it?

Thanks for reading, Thahira x
