MAC Lipsticks & My Top 5

This was originally going to be an Instagram post, but I thought I'd post it on my blog instead since it allows me to write a lot more! Whenever I purchase I new MAC lipstick, I like to look online to see how they compare to the ones I already own and whether the shades are too similar (erm, I always end up with similar shades though, whoops!).. So I thought it would be nice to show you these MAC lipsticks side by side! Every single one of these compliment medium/tanned skin beautifully!

 Everyone already has an opinion on MAC lipsticks so I won't go into a full review.. All I'm going to say is that I don't think MAC lipsticks are amazing or worth it unless they're in the Matte/Retro Matte/sometimes Satin formula (unless you prefer the other formulas). Other than that, I try to always find dupes for shades I want from MAC because only the Mattes and Retro Mattes seem to be longlasting for me.

My top 5 MAC lipsticks:
- Twig - the perfect pink-toned nude for my skin tone
- Sin - the ultimate dark red lipstick
- Captive - a lovely pinky-mauve shade
- Taupe - a brown-toned nude for my skin tone
- Russian Red/Ruby Woo - I couldn't pick one red!

Let me know what your favourite MAC lipsticks are, or just your favourite lipstick in general! Lipsticks are my faaaaves so I'm always looking for something new!

    That's a lot of MAC lipsticks! I've always liked the look of Rebel. That's a tricky one! I quite like the L'oreal rouge caresse for summer :)

    Ah I'm quite jealous of your Mac lipstick collection, although like you, I do usually try and find dupes instead. I really love Twig though, been wanting to get that one for ages!
