Hello! ♥
As I've mentioned in my Top 5 Foundations blogpost, I'm not really keen on foundations with a matte finish. I find that they almost always look hideous (sinking into my 'laugh' lines, emphasising dry patches etc etc) on my dry skin, but the DiorSkin Forever foundation is an exception!
Although it has a 'velvety' matte finish, it never looks dull or gives that 'flat' appearance that other matte foundations may give. It seems to just literally glide over my skin, covering all of my imperfections, and the end result is just so smooth and flawless! My skin still looks quite natural and healthy as well!
I want to mention that this is possibly the easiest foundation ever to blend - it's just amazing how quickly it blends into my skin seamlessly!
You can achieve a medium to full coverage with this, but it's easily buildable if you would like extra coverage in certain areas. It's also super lightweight and very comfortable on the skin even though it is pretty much a full coverage foundation!

This foundation is extremely long-lasting, and seriously lasts all day right up until I remove it.
It also contains SPF 25 which is always a plus!
I use the shade 040 (I believe this foundation is available in 12 shades), which is far too dark for me. The DiorSkin Star foundation in the shade 040 is already too dark for me and 040 in Forever is a lot darker. I would probably benefit from going a shade or two lighter with this foundation.
Quick overview:
Pros:
- Medium to full coverage
- Looks natural/skin like
- F l a w l e s s finish
- Contains SPF 25
- Long-lasting
Cons:
- I honestly cannot think of anything except that some people may not like matte foundations!
What are your thoughts on this foundation?
Thanks for reading, Thahira x
I've never given this one a go but it sounds lovely, especially for those occasions when you want more coverage but you don't want it to look too cakey or fake :)

Yes, exactly! It's such a lovely foundation! x
DeleteWow, it sounds incredible! I might have to see if they have a shade pale enough as it sounds like the perfect foundation xx
ReplyDeleteI find Dior foundation shades a bit annoying, but definitely do go check if they have something for you! You won't regret it x
