MUA Brushes Review

Hello!

MUA (Makeup Academy) are an extremely affordable brand who deliver high quality products (well, the ones I've tried!). I've been using a few of their brushes for over a year now and I've been loving them, so I thought I'd do a quick review!

I'll start off by saying that I absolutely love the look of these brushes - they just look so pretty and professional!
They all have their names printed on the side of the brush, and I own the F6 Blusher & Contouring Brush (£3), E1 Eyeshadow Brush (£1.95) and E3 Blending & Shadow Brush (£1.95).
I have washed these brushes several times over the past year and have never experienced any shedding, and the bristles go straight back into shape! The bristles on all of these brushes are also super super soft!

F6 Blusher & Contouring Brush - I love using this brush for contouring as it fits perfectly into the hollows of my cheeks, and works well for contouring the rest of my face too! It applies the product, as well as blending it out, amazingly! It also picks up just the right amount of product. It even works well for highlighting!

E1 Eyeshadow Brush - This brush places colour on to your lids so easily, and can be used for powder shadows or creams. I've used this with shadows which don't transfer well on to my lids and it's just made applying it so much more easier as it picks up the perfect amount and packs it on well.

E3 Blending & Shadow Brush - This has got to be my favourite one! It's dense and so fluffy! It makes blending eyeshadow so quick and effortless, you hardly need to do anything!
I've used blending brushes from Real Techniques and ELF but nothing compares to this one - I've heard it's a good dupe for the MAC 217 too!

Let me know if you've tried any of their brushes!

Thanks for reading, Thahira x

  1. I wanted to try these too, I just wish they sold them in Superdrug! Love this review, the E3 is the one I had my eye on too, it's amazing how cheap it is for a quality blending brush :) xx
