Since exams have been taking up most of my time and I haven't been able to blog as much as I've wanted to, I thought I'd do a short and sweet post quickly!
MAC's 'Russian Red' lipstick is an extremely well known and well loved lipstick. It's a true red in a matte formula, and suits all skin tones! I know people may want to try out colours before they spend £15.50 on a MAC lipstick, so I've got an incredibly close dupe for you!
My dad bought me Rimmel's Exaggerate lip liner in the shade 'Red Diva' (£3.99) quite a while ago and I've found it to be a dupe for MAC's 'Russian Red'. They're so so similar, except 'Red Diva' is ever so slightly more on the pinky side.
My photos never come out right - the lighting makes the shades look different but they're actually almost the exact the same in person!
I do prefer 'Red Diva' though, because it's much more matte, longer lasting and transfers a lot less than the 'Russian Red' lipstick.

There's quite a few similar Rimmel and MUA lipstick shades too that could pass :) I do generally really like Rimmel lip liners, they're great for the price :)
