Top 5 Foundations

Hello! ♥

I've been trying a lot of foundations recently, and I've been falling in love with almost all of them! Here's a quick rundown of my top 5, in no particular order!
FYI, I have dry skin and these all work extremely well with my skin type, but may work differently on your skin.

NARS All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation - Shade: Syracuse
This is actually my most favourite one out of the bunch! This medium to full coverage foundation has a light formula, and lasts all day! It's very luminous, as the name suggests, and looks extremely natural despite having a flawless finish!

MAC Face & Body Foundation - Shade: C5
This foundation is extremely lightweight, and allows your skin to breathe whilst covering most imperfections! This foundation is almost undetectable which makes it ideal for everyday use.

Dior Skin Star Foundation - Shade: 040
A medium coverage foundation which seems to brighten up the skin! However, it doesn't last as long as the others and can sometimes cling to dry patches.

Dior Skin Forever Foundation - Shade: 040
I usually dislike matte foundations as I prefer a more dewy and luminous base, but this medium to full coverage foundation is just amazing! It doesn't have that 'flat' look some matte foundations have, and just looks perfect! It's also very long-lasting.

Maybelline FIT Me Foundation
I didn't want to photograph this as I accidentally bought a shade far too dark for me, and will update this post with a photo when I repurchase in the correct shade.
I find the formula to this foundation to be slightly similar to the NARS ADWL foundation, but it's not quite the same. It has an extremely dewy finish with medium coverage. It is also long-lasting, but only if touched up with powder during the day.

I will be doing a full review of all of these within the next few weeks!
Let me know what your favourite foundations are!

Thanks for reading, Thahira x

    1. I've heard a lot of good things about that but I keep forgetting to check it out in store, thanks for reminding me! :) x

  3. I used to use the DiorSkin all the time and loved it but I hated the bottle it came in. I always felt like I was gypped out of the few drops left!

My faves right now are the Dior Air Flash and the Armani Luminous Skin. Both are awesome (but so expensive) sigh.

    Thanks for this post!

I really want to try out the Dior Airflash but I'm worried I won't be able to use the spray bottle properly :\ x

  4. I really wanted to try Dior Star but I always have dry patches so think I'll go for the MAC one in duty free instead :) xx
